Larry posted this in the CB thread. Some bikes have' em. That one completely non obvious thing that can lead to disaster.

The best example I can think of is on the RG500. The spacer between the carbs and disk valve cover has a subtle little boss on the side to denote that it is the top. God help you if miss this as installing the spacer upside down leads to an intake leak, which leads to a lean running condition which leads to tears.

Any other diabolical pitfalls?
